July 26 - Moodboard
The mood for July is coming through as deep summer earth: rich soil, clay, rust, sage. A soft masculine is arising in the malaise of peak summer, heat and desire, exhaustion and potential. There is a growing ripeness we can use to create, if we let ourselves linger a little longer and savor the flavor.
What does warmth and nourishment feel like? What does it mean to be seen by the brightest star in our sky without being scorched? July asks us to shine and radiate, but also to soften, to be mysterious and unknown, open to change and stretch. Fashion moves through this as texture and temperature: sun-faded linen, sheer knits, open collars, loose trousers, washed silk, suede, amber, and wet shine, clothes warmed by the body and loosened by the day.
